J. H. Kelly Succeeds J. B. Pierce-Harry Scott Is Assistant.

J. H. Kelly, formerly assistant superintendent of the Pinkerton detective company's office in Pittsburg, assumed control of the local branch of the agency Saturday. He arrived from the north last Friday and since has met all the city officials. He takes the place of J. B. Pierce, who resigned shortly after the completion of the Frank trial.

Harry Scott will remain in Atlanta as assistant superintendent. The order transferring him to Houston, Texas, where he was to have been superintendent, has been countermanded. He will be actively in charge of the criminal business of the agency here.
