Attempt to Subornate Perjury in Leo Frank Case Is the Charge. Jimmy Wrenn, an employee of C. W. Burke, special investigator for the defense in the Frank Case, was indicted by the Fulton County Grand Jury Friday for attempt to subornate perjury, the same charge on which Burke was indicted Thursday afternoon. While Wrenn has not been arrested, Deputy Sheriff Plennie Minor stated he has been located and will be here Monday to make bond.

Wrenn is charged in the indictment with approaching Helen Ferguson between the Frank trial last fall and the hearing on the extraordinary motion for a new trial this spring and attempting to get her to change her testimony. Helen Ferguson, in an affidavit introduced by the state on the hearing of the extraordinary motion for a new trial for Leo Frank, declared that Wrenn, who is a young man, made violent love to her and promised to marry her if she would change her testimony. She alleged Wrenn, who was using an assumed name during the unique courtship, on one occasion introduced C. W. Burke to her as his father. Burke was also indicted on her testimony.
