C. W. Burke, the Special Detective employed by the Frank Defense, returned to Atlanta on Wednesday and made denial of the Reports that he had fled from the City to evade the Grand Jury's proposed Probe into his Operations. "I am here whenever I am wanted," he told Reporters. "The Charges against me are all concocted and faked. I have nothing to fear, and will willingly stand by any investigation the Grand Jury or any other Body proposes." He had been in Kansas City on Business, he stated.
