The Atlanta Constitution,
Wednesday, 7th October 1914,
PAGE 11, COLUMN 5.
In making preparations for a strong fight to liberate Leo M. Frank, Attorney William M. Smith, former counsel for Jim Conley, but now his accuser, is being aided materially by his wife. Mr. Smith is preparing another card in further explanation of his change of opinion. His first statement was given in The Constitution of Saturday morning, and was followed by a more exhaustive card in Saturday morning's Constitution. He will devote his next statement to a more thorough study of the points in the Frank case which influenced him to change his attitude toward his former client.
